Tumbling Class

Today was Aleisha's first day of tumbling class and she had a really good time. At first they had her name tag wrong so she ended up in the advanced class. The instructor had her doing back bends, cartwheels and tons of other stuff she had no idea how to do. She finally started crying and he sent her out. After talking with the girls at the front desk we realized they had written her name tag wrong and she was in an advanced class.

Anyhow, once she was in the beginning tumblers class she loved it. She was walking the balance beam, jumping on trampolines, crawling through tunnels and doing flips. I'm so excited that we found something she loves!

I really think it's going to be something that pulls her out of her shell. She is very shy most of the time, even around people she knows. I overheard a lady saying that having her daughter there totally changed her shy personality and made her a very bold little girl. Hopefully it will be the same for Aleisha.

The end of the class was so cute to watch. They did the hokie pokie and got purple TERRIFIC stamps on both hands and feet. She was so excited afterwards that she told me everything they did, as if I hadn't been watching. LOL!

Ice Cream Man!

I heard the ice cream truck today and knew he was making the circle at the end of our road. I yelled to Aleisha, "Rrrruuuuuunnnnn!!!" She took off running so fast and didn't even know why she was running. When we got outside the ice cream man was laughing. I said, "What?" I looked down and Aleisha only had one shoe on.

I'm laughing so hard while trying to write this!! She had taken off running so fast that one of her shoes came off and was still in the backyard. She just looks down and goes, "Hehe." Cecil must have heard the truck too because there he comes running out of his office (which he built inside our garage) and says, "Hey get me one too." I guess you can tell by all of our reactions that the ice cream man only comes around about once a year. It sure was good!

Here's some pictures for you.

We are finally home! It was a fun trip but I am sure glad to be back. The kids did ok on the plane rides. Aleisha talked my head off on the way to Colorado and asked every two minutes when her beverage was coming. You should have seen the look on her face when the flight attendant brought her a meal on the way home. You would have thought someone had put a million dollars in her lap. It was really cute. Aubrey did good for her first two plane rides. On the way home though, she threw her cup at the window and scared the mess out of the guy in front of her. I just ducked my head and tried to find the cup and not laugh outloud.

Aleisha loved playing in the snow and Aubrey loved sledding. Aleisha hated sledding and Aubrey hated playing in the snow. They are complete opposites. Here is Aubrey voiceing her opinion on that. Haha!

During the day the guys went snowboarding, while us girls all played in the snow. At night, we went out to eat, hung out at Starbucks and shopped at the local shops in Breckinridge. We were in one shop and Cecil had both the girls while I was looking at shirts. All the sudden I see Cecil but he only has one kid. I started yelling for Aleisha, and there she is searching the store for us. I guess it's time to get one of those leashes with a monkey on it!!

Aubrey didn't sleep pretty much the entire time we were there. Cecil and I maybe got 4 hours of sleep a night. Here is a picture of Cecil and Aubrey after our second long night with no sleep. Thank God for good coffee. Thanks Mary!

Here's the girls in their thermals after playing in the snow.

Aubrey wasn't happy about playing in the snow again.

I uploaded more pictures to my myspace if you want to see them. Just go to www.myspace.com/kricierobles

Fun in Colorado

We are currently in Colorado on our first family vacation. It's been fun and really cold! Today was the first day playing in the snow and sledding. Aubrey loved sledding and even tried to go by herself. Thank God we caught her before she took off! Aleisha is having a blast playing in the snow and making snow angels.

Tonight we ate at Bubba Gump Shrimp restraunt and then went to starbucks, and even snuck in some smores crapes from down the road. Ooooohhh they were heavenly!! Aubrey was cracking me up tonight because she kept her tongue out the whole time we were walking back to our car. I finally realized she was trying to catch the snow. When I looked in the backseat her and Aleisha were eating the snow off Aleisha's gloves. So funny!

Well I only have one picture to show you right now because I forgot my camera cord for uploading. We get home Monday so I'll try to show you guys some more pictures.
