This was a pretty crazy week for all of us here in the Robles house. Cecil and I were both sick with a cold and the girls had a stomache bug. It's exhausting taking care of two kids that are throwing up!

My Mom came over Thursday and we decided to let the girls outside. After a week they were finally feeling somewhat better. My mom got the idea that she was going to build the girls a fort in the backyard.  She thought it would be fun to clear out this huge plant I have in my backyard. I had thought about it, but decided against it because I just knew some spider or grasshopper would attack me.  In the end, we cleared out the plant and made a fort for the girls, which they loved. Luckily, no one got attacked. LOL!

This week has been really busy with Aleisha in school, planning for my grandparents 50th anniversary and ordering all of our snow gear for out trip. We are going on a snow trip in Colorado on the 6th of March. We're so excited!! I'll post some pictures of us after we get back. Until then, here are some pictures of the girls in their new fort and playing dress up. Enjoy!

Aleisha's Birthday

Aleisha had her 5th birthday today. She said all day long, "Momma, I'm a big girl now." So cute! She was being nosy this week and trying to listen to my phone conversation. When I got off the phone she demanded I tell her what I was talking about. I told her, "don't worry about it Aleisha, it was a grown up conversation." Her reply was that she was going to be 5 this week and that meant she was grown up.

We celebrated her birthday yesterday which was the 6th. I had to scramble to find a place to have her party. I soooo wanted to have it at this beautiful park in Friendswood but never received a phone call back about it. So, Monday I got online and started hunting. We ended up picking Jump N Jungle which was a blast. You know the huge blow up jumpers you can buy for birthday parties? Well, this place has a huge room designated just for your birthday party full of them. Even the big kids get to jump!

We had so much fun that at the end of the hour of jumping, I looked around and saw all 7 of us parents sitting on the benches, drenched in sweat! My mom came over today to hang out and all day long she kept saying, "Man my neck hurts from jumping so much." If you ever get a chance to go, go, because it will definitley be a lasting memory for your kids. Even little Aubrey went down those huge slides that reached the ceiling. Just fearless I tell you!!

Anyhow, I'm new to this whole blog thing so hopefully I figure out how to attatch some photo's.
